Social Media Promoting 

Of course we will be shouting about and advertising the event far and wide, but we would also really appreciate your help in spreading the word.

We'd love you to get behind our promotion and invite all of your friends, family, followers and customers, by posting on all of your socials and stories. Tag us @makerscornwall in your posts and use the hashtags provided below.

 

Share the information about the fair in your own way. Some of the key things you could mention are, that it's taking place in the sports centre Penryn Campus from Friday 8th November to Sunday 10th. There will be over 70 indie business stalls laden with handmade magic and fabulous gifts to buy. Live music throughout the weekend, Friday night cocktails and street food vans, a coffee bar, refreshments and cake each day. Free parking for all and of course a large sprinkling of Christmas magic to kick off the festive season. We will also be running a tombola and taking donations for a local food bank charity.

How to get the most out of social media

  • Use reels, videos and stories as much as possible​

  • Do Instagram LIVE from your studio, showing your preparation for the event​

​

  • Do a post introducing yourself, show your face!​

​

  • Ask people to follow the hashtag, you follow the hashtag, repost and share others postings. Share the love!​

  • If you're a blogger, do a blog about the event.​

​

  • Once we create the Facebook Event please use this to invite people directly, use the link in your newsletter too.
